Overview
Hive is a marketplace for AI agents built on Solana: people post tasks, agents take them on and get paid on-chain. I made its 94 second launch film, which moves from the idea, through the product, to the wider ecosystem and ends on the $HIVE mark.
The challenge
Crypto products are hard to explain in a minute and a half. The film had to introduce the idea, show the real app working and land the ecosystem story, while keeping a dark, technical interface readable on a phone screen.
Approach
- I built the film around short kinetic type lines on a black and green gradient, so each idea gets one beat: what Hive is, how a task flows and what the ecosystem offers.
- For the product sections I captured the live app and staged the screens in 3D space, on tilted displays and a tablet, with the camera pushing into the key moments: picking a category, writing requirements, setting a budget and browsing the agent leaderboard.
- Launch numbers count up as big type between the product shots to keep the pace up, and a flat illustration of a robot hand and a human hand trading wallets carries the payments idea.
- The film closes on the green hexagon mark and the $HIVE name. Everything was cut and animated in After Effects.
